ohh, that was glorious times… fresh start, new team, new coach… even if Chelsea win many other great titles (i hope they will!) that period i’ll always consider to be the best. not to mention i was a teenage freak then, and used to have lots of time for watching matches. i’ll always love Chelsea but those days i wasn’t a fan, i was a member of that team

I also remember the days when Chelsea were rubbish, when winning the Full Members Cup was about the height of our ambitions. Compared with winning the league, something I never thought I’d see, I know which I prefer.
I think your other points are more a reflection of football in general. Sky TV, no terracing, overpriced tickets, overpaid preening players and so on. You have to spend millions just to compete nowadays.

Back when Chelsea didnt have unlimited cash. I found it
more fun to follow players in a team struggle and
improve themselfs and as a team over time. And finally win
something (doesnt need to be big, just out-perform themselfs)
Rather then replacing half the team each year.
It was also more fun when players played for the passion of
the game. Rather then doing thier daily job, just for cash.
Most players still play for the love of football, but they are
becoming fewer.
You think Arsenal, Liverpool, United etc get all their players from a vegetable patch behind the stadium? All teams buy success…

I was a Chelsea fan for many years.
I want teams to earn thier success rather then flat-out buy it. So
when Abramovic came along i suspected the good times would
end. Mourinho gave us several years of good football, before the
power of cash took over everything.
I knew the football world isnt fair, i was living a dream.
So, i dont watch football anymore.
But it was a good time though, living in a dream.
