Brazilian midfield maestro Oscar has revealed that he was contacted by cash rich French giants Paris Saint Germain over a potential move across the Channel, but the Chelsea has said that he remains committed to the Blues for the near future and is not looking for a move away.
Chelsea might have struggled for goals from their strikers as they ended up being trophy less last season but that hasn’t stopped the European heavyweights to poach some of their brilliant attacking players with the likes of Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard and Oscar all attracting interest from the continental giants.
Hazard is a transfer target for both Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona but he has also insisted that his heart remains with the Stamford Bridge club.
Oscar, who is currently playing for Brazil at the World Cup on home soul has said that there has been contact with Paris Saint Germain but it didn’t go any further and went on to add that he will remain a Chelsea in the new season.
There have been claims that with the club already signing Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona, either one of Hazard or Oscar could be sacrificed as the club looks to remain within UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules but there have also been claims that there is no way Jose Mourinho will part with a player who many see as a future legend for the club, especially after the January sale of Juan Mata to Manchester United.
Oscar was signed by in 2012 by then boss Roberto Di Matteo for a fee of £ 20 million from Brazilian giants Internacional and has gone on to cement his place at Chelsea as one of their key players despite the frequent change of managers and he is hoping he spends many more years at the club as well.

Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea will be reinforcing their squad during the summer transfer window with a few players on the watch-list of the Portuguese coach. The Premier League club is believed to be preparing a €50 million offer for Paul Pogba of Juventus.
The 21 years old French player is a consistent player for Antonio Conte in Juventus and has sparked the attention of a number of clubs around Europe which want to sign him as he has displayed world class abilities despite being such a young performer.
It will be difficult for Chelsea to sign Pogba as he has a contract with Juventus which runs up until 2016 and the Italian club is not expected to sell him anytime soon unless they receive a substantial high offer for the former Manchester United player.
Sami Khedira has been struggling in this past season on getting playing time with Real Madrid and things turned even worse for the German midfielder when he picked up a knee injury which has left him out of action on a number of occasions.
Even when Khedira is fit, it remains unclear as to what role will Sami Khedira play in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans. Asier Illaramendi is turning out to be a young and dependable option in the midfield of the team meanwhile Xabi Alonso and Luka Modric are consistent performers for the Italian coach.
While Khedira and Pogba could be seeing their way into Chelsea in the summer transfer window, David Luiz has reportedly agreed to leave the Premier League club and join Barcelona in the summer. The Brazilian defender is believed to have signed a 5 year deal with the Spanish club which will take effect once the transfer window opens up in a few weeks.
Athletic Madrid’s Diego Simeone has confirmed Chelsea’s interest in Diego Costa. The 25 years old Brazilian forward is enjoying a sensational season as he is one of the top goal-scorers in La Liga even competing along with Lionel Messi and C.Ronaldo for the Golden Boot award.
The standout season from Costa has attracted the interest of clubs which are interested in signing him. Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are some of the clubs which have already shown intentions of signing him but according to Diego Simeone, Chelsea has a huge financial power and they are working on signing the Brazilian attacker.

Swansea striker Wilfried Bony has said that he will talk with former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba about a few tips on beating his former club. Swansea will take on Chelsea at the liberty stadium this weekend knowing that they are undefeated in the last three matches against the blues at this ground. However, the weekend’s match will be extra tough given that Chelsea have title ambitions in mind. The blues, though, are likely to be tired after being involved in the midweek Champions League match against PSG when they had to put in a lot of effort to get back into the semifinals.
Bony has had a great first season in the Premier league after joining the club from Vitesse Arnhem for £ 12 million. Swansea manager Gary Monk recently compared Bony with former Chelsea great Drogba. Even though he is physically not up to the same height as Drogba, Monk says that Bony has all the attributes of the Ivory Coast international. Bony has himself stated that he is a friend of Drogba and that the two often talk with each other. Bony has already scored 20 goals in all competitions, but after just 12 goals in the league, the striker is targeting more in the remainder of the season.
“I have not spoken to him yet, but maybe tonight. We are playing against Chelsea, so he can tell me a few things. He is my friend so I will talk to him and he can give me some advice. As players you always want to play and do well against the big sides. I have got 12 league goals and it would be nice to reach 20 before the end of the season,” said Bony about the targets for the remainder of the season and also about his friendship with Drogba.
