Former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez, who is currently in charge of Chelsea, revealed a few months ago that he will be leaving the West London outfit at the end of the season. He has now managed to put himself in the market in the best possible way by managing to lift the Europa league title with Chelsea. He has also managed to achieve the ambitions of the club to finish in the top four. For most of the season, it looked like Chelsea would once again finish outside the top four.

Benitez has said that he expects top jobs to be available to him once his tenure at Chelsea comes to an end. He is expected to hand over the reins to José Mourinho. Benitez has been linked with a move to Napoli, who are expected to lose their manager Walter Mazzarri. The Italian has managed to do an excellent job at the club, but a vast restructuring is expected to take place at the club due to the tremendous interest in the manager and several top players. Edinson Cavani has been linked with a move away from Napoli for a long time.

Benitez has said that he will consider his options at the end of the season, but he has reiterated his desire to stay in England.

“There are two options for me. One is a top side where you can go straight in and compete for trophies. Or maybe a project. It depends on the project. You have to analyse carefully. It is my priority to stay in England but maybe I will have to look abroad and see if a top side is available in another country. It’s part of the thing that I have to do now,” said Benitez, whose agent rejected rumours linking him with Napoli.
