West London giants Chelsea are back on track after recording a win in each of their last three games in all competitions including the FA Cup last four clash with London rivals Crystal Palace at the weekend. The 2-0 win over Palace in the FA Cup semifinals made it three victories on the bounce for the European champions. Chelsea have won their last three games in all competitions after they were stunned at home by West London rivals Brentford and Spanish giants Real Madrid in different competitions shortly after the last international break.

Chelsea were on the end of a 4-1 loss at the hands of Brentford in the West London Derby in the Premier League thanks to the goals from Vitaly Janelt (brace), Yoanne Wissa and new signing Christian Eriksen for the visitors, while German international Antonio Rudiger scored the first goal of the game in the colours of Chelsea. The Bees conceded to Rudiger at the start of the second half before finding the back of the net four times to record one of the biggest wins in their history.

Real Madrid made it two successive home losses for Chelsea following their 3-1 win in the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinals with Frenchman Karim Benzema getting all the goals for the visitors, while Kai Havertz scored the lone Chelsea goal.

Chelsea were able to bounce back from those two defeats with the 6-0 thrashing of hosts Southampton before they recorded a 3-2 away win over Real Madrid in extra time. The Blues won 3-1 in regulation time of the second leg to take the game into extra time before Real Madrid scored in extra time to take the tie on aggregate and seal a place in the last four of the Champions League this season.

Thomas Tuchel and his Chelsea players have recovered from their Champions League exit thanks to their FA Cup semifinal win over Palace. They will now face Liverpool in the final.
