Chelsea offloaded £22m in order to sign the services for Nemanja Matic who is set to undergo some medical tests in order to complete his transfer. Mourinho wanted to land a new midfielder and he is convinced that Matic has developed into a much better player than the one he once was some years ago.

Sources arriving from Portugal are claiming that Matic will sign a contract with Chelsea that will see him remaining with the Premier League club until 2017. Matric has already played with ‘’The Blues’’ back in 2009 where he barely managed to make any kind of impact with the club and ultimately was loaned to Vitesse Arhhem and finally sold to Benfica.

Branislav Ivanovic praised the improvements that his fellow Serbian countryman Matic has made.

“There is a lot of positive news about Nemanja and he is improving a lot,” Ivanovic said. “When he was at Chelsea, you saw he has the qualities to be a top player, but he needed to play and he decided the best option for him was to move to Portugal.”

While Nemanja Matic will be seeing his way into Chelsea, De Bruyne is going to leave the club with the German side Wolfsburg being the next football destination of the midfielder who are expected to make an offer of €16 million and should be enough to secure the services of the 22 years old player.

Kevin De Bruyne spent most of his time on the sidelines of Chelsea or just going out on loan as he went to Genk and later made a switch to Werder Bremen and now Wolfsburg is turning out to be the more likely destination.

Besides Matic, Fredy Guarin of Inter Milan is a big target that Jose Mourinho wants to add into his squad of Chelsea.
